The Lady Sandel is now moored at Foyle Marina, alongside the Londonderry Port pontoon.

Following inspection by MCA later this week, Charlie plans to operate river cruises in Derry on a timetabled basis and he will also take special bookings for groups.

Foyle River Cruise plans to sail into Derry this evening (Wednesday)!

She will be moored at the Londonderry Port operated city centre pontoon (pictured) on the River Foyle. Hope to have an image of the boat on her new "home waters" in the next few days!

Following inspections and certification Foyle River Cruise plans to operate tours on the river and on Lough Foyle.

Able to take up to 60 passengers, the boat is ideal for group bookings.

New river cruise boat bound for the Foyle!

An entrepreneur who has spent much of his life on the River Foyle is hoping to start a river cruise business on the river in the next few weeks!

Charlie Hegarty will base his boat in the centre of Derry-Londonderry and offer guided trips for groups and individuals, sailing downriver and also upstream of Craigavon Bridge. The boat will be able to take up to 60 passengers and (with an enclosed cabin space and light refreshments on offer) offers a comfortable way to view the delights of the Walled City, the lower Foyle valley and Lough Foyle!
